In order to comprehensively carry out related policies and encourage students to go out of schools, Students Association Union of Southwest Jiaotong University has decided to carry out social practice activities in the whole campus comprehensively. Hereby notify the related matters as follows.

1.Theme

"To practice the socialist core values, to become the five cross adults" as the theme, using participant observation and service experience as the main content, called on students use the weekend out of school, with short-term relay form, "on the spot, nearby, were" normalized to carry out social practice, practice the socialist core values, and actively promote "cultivate talents to rejuvenate the Chinese nation, the spirit of unremitting self-improvement" Jiaotong University, in the practice of education, talent, make contribution, the socialist core value system into the practice of continuous learning, self education and the perfect, has become "the five dimension" of University man.

(1)Cultivate social responsibility and sound personality

Chinese dream as the educational opportunity,promote Chinese dream,visit the patriotism educational base and the oldman joined the revolution,experience and support the reconstruction of disaster areas,participate in the construction of local economic and social activities, clear the contemporary university student's social responsibilities, armed thought of socialist core values, use the practical action to bear responsibility of youth, the practice to serve the country sincerely. 6.Requirements

(1)Adviser

Each Students Association Union need elect a teacher as the adviser of the social practice activity on weekends.He/She should be in charge of the activity.

(2)Application

a.Application Materials

Download and fill out the fund-applying form. (refer to annex 1 for details.The form can be downloaded on the website of the Students Association Union)

B.Batch

Application time:One batch every month.The activity should be finished before Jan.5^th,2015.

c.Application time: the practice team to the college students Sub Committee submitted "weekend social practice project fund application form" (Annex 1, paper files, type A, need to fill in the name of activity, with activities and budget). (3)The funds and the project approval to declare

(4)The results presented

Practice after the event, each team will be required to practice results submitted to the Communist Youth League school:

(5)Honoring

In December the school committee will organize weekend social practice review group, selected the "weekend social practice excellent team" weekend "excellent individual in social practice" and other awards, the award after the end of the Communist Youth League school, will the winning team cited. 7.Security

(1)Each of the students participated in the social practice of the weekend, security related matters according to the "Southwest Jiao Tong University weekend social practice safety undertaking" execution;

(2)If the location of activities during the practice of school,, must buy insurance for all members of the practice team;

(3)Practice team must be free of special physique, no special disease, physical and mental health, the voluntary participation of our school full time 18 years of age and above students; to fully research activities in place of natural conditions, social conditions can be completed smoothly and safety assurance activities whether before the trip, and fully prepared to.

(4)The weekend social practice team must develop security measures, and to strengthen the safety education propaganda team, responsible for its in the practice of social security during the. The team will keep in touch with the school committee, accidents must report promptly and properly handle;

(2)Participate in the social practice of the students weekend must especially pay attention to the personal and property safety, strengthen the consciousness of self protection, and carry out activities in accordance with the unified arrangements, shall not act alone; it is strictly prohibited to swim, don't get reservoir danger zone play; prohibited in the small coal mines (kiln) and other dangerous places in the weekend social practice service activities;

(6)The weekend social practice team members must strictly abide by the state laws, regulations, rules and regulations, local customs, the traffic rules, courtesy of civilization, make university reflected good style;
